Mailed entries must be unframed, unmatted prints in colour or black-and-white, and may be submitted in any size. Photos should be packaged with cardboard stiffeners. The use of a photo in a publication may include, but is not limited to, publications that may be published for sale (i.e., postcards to promote Bute Inlet). Every effort will be made to credit the photographers whose work is reproduced or published.
Eligible entries will be judged by: Martha James, B.A. majoring in ceramics, photography and drawing; Lawrie Bowles, photographer and owner of Cedar Creek Photography; and Michael Laver, B.A. Hons. (Wales), A.T.D. (Wales), former photography instructor in the Visual Arts Department at the University of the Fraser Valley. The winners will be announced on November 14th at the Quadra Island Community Centre at the “Celebrating Bute Inlet” evening. The winning photographs and as many of the entries as possible will be displayed at this event. The top four entries will be made into postcards.
